Are we about to see the 4* OG flip to Texas, perhaps? He's currently an LSU commit, but after last night's pitiful performance and he has a CB to Texas still, what do you guys think will happen?

Okay, I have a bone to pick with that. Not the staying with LSU bit, but the fact that he announced it as big news. For those who don't know, all he announced was that he was switching from OG to DT. But why?? I may still be new to the whole recruiting thing, but even I know that recruits generally don't tweet out "big news coming at so and so" unless they're narrowing down the schools of choice, announcing their commitment, or decommitting/flipping. Yet all he announced was that he was switching positions. Why? Honestly that whole thing seemed like kind of an attention grab to me...

Kids crave attention in all forms. From the time they're in the crib all the way until they reach the real world. Kids are the most ego-centric, selfish people on the planet. All kids. Not singling any one out in particular, they just don't understand how big the world is and how small they are until they're older and more wise.

Then read what you just said again.

I wasn't singling anyone out and stated as much in my post. I said all kids. That means: you, me, Chasen Hines, and everyone else who has ever been a kid.. are the most ego-centric people on the planet. It's not until you are on your own in the real world that you understand how small you are in the scheme of things. When you realize how little you impact the world then you can realize why a tweet saying "Big news coming at so and so" is pretty comical. 50 people just got killed by a crazy gunman in Vegas. That is big news. It doesn't need a leading tagline. It impacts the world on a large scale and people are going to look at those headlines without being told that theres "huge news coming." When a recruit tweets that theres "big news coming" it very rarely ever has anything to do with big news. Its just an attempt to gain an audience because people, specifically kids, crave attention. The cliche, "you will understand when you're older" applies here so don't take offense, buddy.
