Garrett Gray left practice with an apparent injury
RT Elijah Rodriguez had to be helped off of the field with what looks like a leg injury. Tristan Nickelson took his spot at the RT position
Malcolm Roach dressed out but did not practice. He was wearing a protective boot on his right foot.
The practices are physical & intense, Marquez Bimage & Tristan Nickleson got into a skirmish after a play.
From my source who was at the practice, he said and I quote "Damn they are physical"

I was told today. Wheeler & McCullough are impressing the defensive coaching staff. Gary Johnson had struggled thru Mon & Tue practice, but was much better today. Malcolm Roach is becoming a vocal leader.

Damone Clark - 2018 LB from Baton Rouge; currently committed to LSU.

They just like his physicality and I think they like challenging Malik with a fear of losing his role. We all know what Malik can do and we all know his potential.

Hearing that TE Cade Brewer is really impressing the staff. The only thing he is missing is a little more weight. Expect to see him maybe as high as the clear No. 2 TE

Had a source tell me that the Josh Thompson injury was not serious and he should be back very shortly. Just took a blow to the lower leg. He should be back by Monday at the latest.

Mark my words Kyle porter is the real deal I can't help but worry. I don't know if this is a common thing, as I've only started playing close attention to offseason stuff for two years now, but we seem to be getting plagued with injuries AGAIN. Some of which aren't as bad, granted, but it's still really irritating and troubling to know that a quarter of the starting lineup could be forced to be on the sidelines due to injuries at any given time.

It's the way Herman practices so he won't back off. I think it might be a selling point they use for recruits. "Our practices are rough so yea you might see 3-4 guys ahead of you on depth chart but injurys happen" we'll be able to just reload after a cpl of Herman recruiting classes if we just win
